Happy Holidays 2010!Welcome 2011! Updates Finally!

I am terribly sorry for neglecting my DA account. Pffft! My premium membership hasn't served its purpose then for my journal skins. LOL.


Anyway, what's up with me lately? Well, if you've been keeping tabs on my activities thru journal history, you'll see that work eats up a lot of my time hehehe. While I tried hard to get back into the cosplay scene, there are always other priorities that come to play, making me unable to attend events. Sheesh! And since my DA has been centered on cosplay, ergo, DA has been neglected too. Screw me! Pffft!


My last update was since September? Dang!

CONVENTIONS

The last conventions I attended would be The Best of Anime 2010 and the latest biggest convention at least for me was, Cosplaymania X 2010. I only attended DAY2 of the latter pffft! DAY1 was the last day of my class at work.


I didn't have time to spice up new costumes lah! So the last ones were Mio Akiyama from K-ON! and my Sannins Lord: Tsunade which is a fan art version; used in the abovementioned conventions respectively. I dun have much photos uploaded yet demmit!




And pfffft! Work stuff made me unable to attend AFA X 2010. Kill me now! The 2nd year I attempted to attend and yet I failed! Pffft!

Oh well ... congrats to TEAM BAJINA at least for making it heheh. Good job girls! Good job to kunebitt and seseostara PAK!

COSPLAY GROUPS

Last October, for COSMANIA X DAY1, I was supposed to be with a group formed by my dear cosplay sistah however, as I mentioned, it was the last day of my class (graduation) so I wasn't able to attend. Tsk tsk. My character? It'll be a surprise haha. I'm reserving it for a photoshoot then. Teeeheee! Too excited for that chance hehe. Our group is a massive hit this year in the cosplay arena, I guess, so the characters are too recognizable however, the version we're doing is not overly popular as of yet, I believe so ... stay tuned hahaha ...

I am really excited to launch this ... hahah. Been waiting for my tailor now to finally complete it since I wasn't able to use it yet and there are a few items to alter hurhurhur~

And yet another group I'm yet to be in ... with lovely dear !

We were supposed to launch at UP AME but unfortunately, my costume wasn't done yet again + I was stuck at work 'til the afternoon that day. Pffft! And so, the group went on without me yet ... too bad. Sorry guys! But I promise to be in our photoshoot no matter what! Hehe. Gotta hook up with y'all and sisters advent-seer and ChinkyAiko and many more!

I actually planned to have launched more cosplays this year but due to a number of reasons ... I wasn't able to ... here's a few:

Work eats me
Whenever I plan to attend, something more important always comes up (sudden workload lah)
I lost track of most of the events
There are too many events ... I dunno which one's real
There are too many events that sound alike ... I thought they're one and the same
There are too many cosplayers now I dunno of
There are too many cosplayers who are random con-goers who don't seem like cosplaying ... eh?
Some cosplay events aren't cosplay-centric anyway so why bother?
Some cosplay events attract a different crowd than cosplay hobby enthusiasts
My costumes normally don't make it in time grrr
I currently have 4 costumes in queue ... mostly almost-done by my tailor hehehe ... I haven't dropped by again to claim 'em
I get lazy sometimes to attend cons

LAAAAAH ... am I too straight to the point? I guess. Oh well ... just my opinion. Sheesh!

DANCE ROUTINE

In some of my cosplay plans ... I'd do more mature characters than moe-type or school girls. I mean ... well, not mostly sexy (gosh ... I can't bare that much and all like my idols and hehehe ... my body figure doesn't match their physique hehehe. Flabby! LOL. However, most of my choices are more mature in terms of their personality, mindset, and .. dress style. Not daring lah! Heheheh.

And so ... for my to get more fit for those characters, I have to slim down. Really slim down, eh? Heheheh. So what do I do? I dance!

Since April or May I think, in time for my June cosplay, I got hooked again to Dance Dance Revolution ...



Not to mention that I do plan to cosplay YUNI from DDR hehe; but I wanted to fit in my costume ... my first attempt to cosplay a sexy yet discreet character hehe. Luckily, I was able to do that ...



I was hooked to that game since I was in highschool. However, other priorities came to play until I graduated in college. Now that I'm working and I guess I still need a hobby for a change hehe, I managed to squeeze this in my busy schedules. One thing I can say for sure ...

How certain am I? Well ... that's for me to know and you to find out. LOL. My sistah Naokoko knows it best. Hehe.

DECEMBER UPDATES

I celebrated my birthday in separate occasions or parties or groups or what have yah! Like how I normally do it every year now. This year, I got more folks treating me out than me treating them hehehe. Ain't that cool?



This one's at Chinatown's Bestfoods somewhere in the Philippines hehe. T'was my first time there and I'm glad to have visited the place. The food was yummy! Eat all you can heheh! Though I really do not go to such places since I normally eat small portions only (and I'll end up paying more hehe) ... but my dear friends brought me there so what can I do? LOL.

But this was really memorable ... And I'm grateful for ...

Anyway ...

We've also celebrated our Christmas Party and t'was a blast! I came in rather late coz of a number of other items to do hehe but I enjoyed it.

Since my birthday was just a few days before the party ... I made a little tweaking to our company's teaser invitation ...



Hahaha! My friends almost got hooked to that trap. LOL.

Lemme share this video of myself and my sister. This was a random nothingness! Hahaha. I just came from our GLAMROCK Christmas Party and my sis too came from elsewhere ... and we thought we'd imitate the artists. LOL.

We're fans of KPOP and the group itself, 2NE1. And with that, allow me to share this with y'all ... as my Holiday Present!
